The public fountain Kesa is located at the corner of Mandrina Street and is built into the courtyard wall of a residential building. According to historical records (Kreševljaković, 1939), this fountain is exceptionally old, as the inscription above it dates back to 1850; however, the worn condition of the trough already suggested that it was much older. Kreševljaković also wrote that the fountain was part of Madža’s house at that time. A historical photograph (Kreševljaković, 1939) and the site visit revealed that the current appearance of the fountain is almost the same as it was 100 years ago. It is still embedded in the wall of the residential building, and the trough today looks almost identical to how it did back then, with one small change: the hole that was used for draining water from the basin is now blocked. The entire fountain is made of natural stone. The part built into the wall is made of separate stone pieces, one of which has an inscription engraved in Arabic. The fountain has a functional horizontal spout that allows for a constant flow of water, and the trough is made from a single stone piece in the shape of a rectangular prism. On the right side of the fountain, there is a wooden entrance to the courtyard of the residential building
