The public fountain on the corner of Majevička is located on Prijeka Česma Street. In his book, Kreševljaković mentions that this street got its name from the ‘Prijeka Česma’ fountain, which once existed there (Kreševljaković, 1939). He described this fountain as being built into the supporting wall below Prijeka Česma Street and noted that it had a wooden trough. He also mentioned that this fountain was connected to the city water supply system in 1895. It cannot be definitively concluded that the new fountain is in any way connected to the old one due to the difference in appearance, but there is some indication that they are located at the same spot. This can be deduced from the fact that the new fountain is also integrated into the supporting stone wall of Prijeka Česma Street. According to locals, the new fountain was restored thanks to a certain Nurija Arslanagić. The fountain is recessed into the supporting wall, made of concrete and natural stone, and features a semicircular decorative element on its front. The trough is also made of concrete, and below it, there is a drainage pipe that directs water into a drainage shaft below the fountain. The functional faucet on the front allows for controlled water use. At the time of the field visit, the fountain was neglected and severely damaged, essentially falling apart.
